Current Speedway Australia licensed competitors aged between 16 and 23 years will receive advice via email that applications are now open for the 2018 Speedway Australia Rising Star Program.
This is an exciting opportunity for up to 20 competitors to participate in a program exploring the fundamentals of the high performance sporting world and in specific Speedway.
The Rising Star Program is fully-funded by Speedway Australia and its partners and will be conducted at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra April 2018.
Part of the application process involves putting together a presentation outlining your achievements to date and your goals for the future within speedway. This can be uploaded as a pdf document, directly from the application form.
Applications close on October 31, and can be completed online via this link. All applicants will be advised of success or not Mid December, with successful applicants required in Canberra over 5 working days.
